My name is Jim Jowanovitz and I was born and raised in Midland, MI.  I got interested in stamp collecting U.S. Commemorative Stamps when my cello teacher gave me a stamp album for my 13th birthday.  I have been collecting ever since.

Professionally, I work for Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati for over 30 years in IT.  I have recently been involved with development of a web site for Operation Give Back (OGB) which is a non-profit organization providing after-school and summer programs in academic subjects and life skills for economically disadvantaged children (grades 1-8) in the Sycamore School District, Cincinnati, Ohio.  In building a web-site for this organization, I decided I could build a web-site for my stamp collection.  A nice free place to organize my collection if you will.

Outside of keeping my collection current with new issues, my collection is nearly complete needing only 14 more stamps (1893 - 1930).   Between eBay and Hipstamp and a few trading partners, the holes in my collection have evaporated.  I think I will keep looking for bargains on eBay....
